Product description

 

Hyssop - A very useful herb for medicines, aromatics, cooking and even cosmetics. It has been recorded that Hyssop was used for many of these purposes by the 600's. It is beloved by pollinators and is well behaved in garden beds. Plants grow 18-24". Perennial in zones 4-9.

Instructions - Sow seeds indoors just beneath surface of soil. Cold stratification helps to increase germination. Simply combine seeds and some slightly dampened soil or sand in a zip lock bag, place in refrigerator for 6 weeks. Plant right away if frost has passed or start in containers and transplant after the last frost. 

  • Prefers average well-drained soil.
  • Sow seed indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost
  • Germination 7-10  days
  • Plant 6-12" apart
  • Full Sun to Partial Shade
