The Living Seed Company -  This amazing leek is a favorite for its vigorous growth and resistance to disease.  An excellent overwintering variety, in mild climates and well adapted for many growing regions.  Maintains a uniform size approx. 7" - 8" shafts.

This cold hardy variety is excellent as a fall or winter harvest.  Leeks are known to taste sweeter after a frost.

Instructions - Sow seeds indoors ¼" deep and space 1" in all directions. Transplant as soon as soil can be worked in spring. Hill or mound soil around stems several times to blanch as leeks grow.

Sow Indoors: 6-8 weeks before the last frost
