Red Nerines have several names. Nerine Sarsiensis Red, also goes by Guernsey Lilies, Jersey Lilies or Cape Flowers and because of their habit of the leaves coming separately from the blossoms, they get referred to as Naked Ladies. We receive these in spring and fall.
The leaves pop up, the leaves die and sometime later, lilies start popping up and you have blooms before you know it.
They bloom in late summer and the red color is a wonderful addition to the garden.
