Legend Tomato

Legend Tomato by The Living Seed Company - With a name like Legend, one would expect something mythical and fabled.  With late blight riddling gardens all over the country and tomatoes becoming more difficult to grow because of it, growing a tomato with tolerance to late blight may be something of fiction.  Demonstrates some endurance towards late blight fungi US8 and US11.

Another marvel of this tomato how early it matures, considering it is a full sized (3" - 5") slicing tomato.  These tomatoes of Legend are exquisitely juicy, sweet and with the perfect balance of acidity.  

These perfectly uniform, smooth and round, luscious tomatoes were bred and release by Oregon State University Dr. Jim Baggett.

Instructions - Sow seeds indoors 1/8" deep. Tomatoes are sensitive to freezing temperatures, so wait to transplant outdoors until the soil is warm. Plant in full sun.

• Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost
• Germination 7-14 days
• Plant apart 24-36" 
• Plants need trellising or staking
