We love having this as a natural solution for squash bugs, cucumber beetles and other garden pests.  We let the radishes flower to ensure their scent is everywhere in the garden to deter bugs. Other radishes seem effective but for some reason this one works best for us. We source from various organic seed companies to ensure we always have it. It's easy to save your own seed from this one so give that a try too.

Instructions - Radishes (Raphanus sativus) are hardy annuals in the Brassicaceae family. Most varieties are best harvested young, but some are specifically selected as winter storage radishes. Remove stones from loose, well-drained soil. Go easy on nitrogen, as excessive amounts can lead to big tops and little roots.
