Short Stuff Sunflowers- Sunflowers are wonderful additions to the garden and for those in very northern areas, the shorter the better.  This needs baraely two months before its flowering and it is just a few weeks later you start to get seeds. Plus the toddler and kid factor is prety fun too, Annual, 54 days, (Helianthus annuus)

Instructions - Sow seeds outdoors after last frost. Sunflowers prefer full sun to light shade and well-drained rich soil. Provide support for tall plants.
