Rasta Parrot's color and form makes it a standout in the garden and arrangements. We are so proud to be able to offer this one in 2025 as it has been on our list for a long time. Parrot Tulips are in a world of their own - they have wild forms paired with gorgeous colors. This is what makes them so riveting in arrangements. Parrot tulips should be protected from wind and heavy rains. The extra work in placing these are worth it. Parrots are excellent for forcing. It is recommended you plant the parrot tulips in pots and then chill vs chilling in the cooler then planting. The reason is this makes the tuber root in and create stronger blooms. Our bulbs are close to 5” in circumference ( 11/12 cm) which makes them some of the biggest you can purchase and are sourced from Holland. We were able to first order these last year and they were a hit in the garden shop! We will have pictures soon as we planted these in our landscape and it pots to offer! Cupcake Blush Cosmos - When these are picked and massed together in a bouquet it makes a wonderous sight. Cupcake cosmos look like they are wrapped in a cupcake wrapper. They have a double layer of blossoms but sit just in the perfect way that it looks like a cupcake wrapper and a cupcake. They are just so cute! Red Sarah Bernhardt is a wonderful bloom for arrangements. It has strong stems, the blooms cam be cut when somewhat tight and be allowed to slowly open up. This will give 8-12 days of flowers in a vase. It is a great garden peony as it rarely needs staking. It yields large number of flowers once mature in a couple of years.

3-5 Eye Rootstock - We try to only provide the largest rootstock for peonies for stronger roots that lead to better blooms.  2-3 eye roostock is the most common size offered and occassionally it is what we have to use, but 3-5 eyes per root is our goal. Eyes are the buds of the leaves and stems that will grow this season for you. 
Shipping - Ships first two weeks of May- All peonies are packed in spagnum moss or other media to ensure they make it to your garden in pristine condition. We do adjust for shipping charges as every year is slighly different in weights and sizes.  We also ship the last 2 weeks of September into the 1st week of October
Planting Care - Bare roots should be kept cool and in the dark until ready to plant.  Peonies do not like to be planted deep and eyes should be kept no deeper than 1" below the soil surface. When possible, it is a great idea to mound your peonies above your existing garden grade to accommodate mulch.  Plant no deeper than 1-2". The roots will quickly develop and anchor into the ground.
