Feathery-leaved plants have soft blue to white flowers with downward-turned petals that resemble a skirt. Like their relative, Love-in-a-Mist, the flowers of this species are followed by ornamental pods perfect for dried arrangements. Annual, (Nigella sativa). Seeds are used as a flavoring in soups, stews, curry powder, and pastries and are still being used in the manufacture of some liqueurs. Self-seeding annual.  Characteristics:  Annual plant Self-seeding Plants grow to 6 inches tall Dark green-gray stems 250 seeds  Instructions - Sow seeds indoors ¼" deep.
