The Seed Savers Exchange - (Satureja hortensis) Peppery flavor used to season a wide array of dishes—beans, sausage, cabbage, wild game, and even vinegar. Both fresh and dried leaves can be used. Somewhat lanky plants grow up to 18" tall. Hardy annual.
