Ranunculus Yellow (Ranunculus Aviv)

Nerines have several names. Nerine Bowdenii goes by Guernsey Lilies, Jersey Lilies or Cape Flowers and because of their habit of the leaves coming separately from the blossoms, they get referred to as Naked Ladies. We receive these in the spring while other colors we receive in the fall. The leaves pop up, the leaves die and sometime later, lilies start popping up and you have blooms before you know it. They bloom in late summer and the pink color is a wonderful addition to the garden. Characteristics 18" - 28" tall USDA Zones 7-10 (Hardy in these zones, some folks have success all the way to Zones 5 for Lycoris so give those a try if you live in a colder climate) Bloom Duration: 2 weeks Full Sun or Partial Shade Additional Information Deer, Rodent, Rabbit and Squirrel Resistant Great for Specimen, Mass Plantings, Borders, and Cutting Gardens. They have a slight fragrance so plant them by your walkways. They also can be used for arrangements. After a long winter, it is nice to pick a bouquet from your own backyard. 'Flore Pleno' is a double snowdrop and was introduced around 1874 and are practically deer and rodent proof. Ranunculus Red (Ranunculus Aviv)

We are allowing pre-orders for our customers who are in the south and like to plant them for early spring blooms. Typically we run out in January of the fall harvested ones and then switch to pre-orders for the year. We will ship them in late September. Freesias take about 90-100 days to bloom. Beautiful blooms adorn each plant. They bloom at a wonderful time when other plants are not at their peak. Freesias are very easy to plant and care for. We provide some of the largest bulbs in the industry which means bigger blooms for you. Bloom times differ depending if you are in Zones 9-11 or 3-8. Freesias are a tropical plant that are hardy in USDA Zones 9-11 and grown as annuals in the rest of the United States. In the zones they are hardy (9-11) you get blooms in the cooler months and they go dormant in the hotter months. They need around 110 days to bloom from planting, so if you are in Zones 3 & 4, you will need to start in pots for the best success, much like cannas.
