Felix Crousse always gets high praise when visitors come to Firefly Farm & Mercantile. Folks love how beautiful the blossoms are and how brightly colored they are. This peony stands up straight and has very strong stems. It’s a great cut flower and we love peonies that are both great in the landscape and great as cut flowers. Festiva Maxima is a standout performing for us. We love the huge double blossom. This variety does well as a cut flower and js long lasting in the garden too. Pre-orders are open - We start shipping March 2026.  We normally do not start taking pre-orders so soon, but for tree peonies we are since the shipping timeframe it a little different. Golden Crown's golden blossoms will brighten any day. It will reach 4-6' in height and 4' in width. It can grow even larger over time, reaching 15' in height and width. Tree peonies are very hardy and unlike other peonies, they will grow as a shurb and provide winter interest. Laura Dessert - A standout peony for us. It has strong stems and when cut while still closed you get to enjoy yellow peonies for a few days before they fade to white. Moon River Peony - One of my favorites as it is last for us to bloom. Raspberry Sundae is a fun and light-hearted peony. The colors are refreshing and this is excellent in bouquets as it’s unquestionably cheery.
