This vareity is from Bodger Seeds of the U.K who also had seed trials in California. They develops gaint varieties that did not fade in the sun or the heat of summer. This was first mentioned in the U.S. as New Senstation Red from Burpee in the 1920's. Giant pink zinnias are always a hit. Lumuniso Zinnias are about 40" tall and yeild large blossoms 4-5" wide. Most of the blossoms will be doubles and semi-doubles. The blossoms are a huge hit! 1. When to Plant: Zinnias love the heat! Direct sow seeds outdoors about 1–2 weeks after the last frost has passed. They can also be started indoors 4 weeks before the last frost, but use peat or paper pots to avoid disturbing their roots during transplanting.
2. Choosing a Spot: These little powerhouses need full sun and well-draining soil. Because they are low-growing, they are ideal for:
