Crocosmia Emily McKenzie (Montbretia) provides an abundance of blooms on graceful but tough branches with minimal effort. Hummingbirds love the blossoms. They are not bothered by deer and other wildlife.
They are hardy to USDA Zones 6-9 only and will be need to be lifted or protected in other climates.
