Beautiful blooms adorn each plant. They bloom at a wonderful time when other plants are not at their peak. Freesias are very easy to plant and care for. We provide some of the largest bulbs in the industry which means bigger blooms for you.
Bloom times differ depending if you are in Zones 9-11 or 3-8. Freesias are a tropical plant that are hardy in USDA Zones 9-11 and grown as annuals in the rest of the United States. In the zones they are hardy (9-11) you get blooms in the cooler months and they go dormant in the hotter months. They need around 110 days to bloom from planting, so if you are in Zones 3 & 4, you will need to start in pots for the best success, much like cannas.
