Luminosa Zinnia Flower - Heirloom

This vareity is from Bodger Seeds of the U.K who also had seed trials in California. They develops gaint varieties that did not fade in the sun or the heat of summer. This was first mentioned in the U.S. as New Senstation Red from Burpee in the 1920's. 

Giant pink zinnias are always a hit. Lumuniso Zinnias are about 40" tall and yeild large blossoms 4-5" wide. Most of the blossoms will be doubles and semi-doubles. The blossoms are a huge hit! Available in Firefly Farm Packets, Seedsaver Packets, and in Bulk

• Not as known for their powdery mildew resistance as Benary's Giants but above average. 

Instructions -Sow seeds outdoors after last frost. Zinnias prefer well-drained average soil. Water regularly, keeping leaves dry. Remove spent blossoms frequently to prolong blooming.
