Buttercrunch Lettuce, 1960's Heirloom, Organic

Buttercrunch is one of our most popular lettuces and for good reason - it tastes amazing, is heat resistant and mosaic disease doesn't bother it at all. This is a 1963 All-American Selections winner.  The lettuce has buttery notes, its juciy and the leaves are thick giving it the ability to hold it's shape and crispness for long periods of time.

• Harvest outside leaves or cut the entire head
• 0.5 g, 400 Seeds

Instructions - Sow continuously for a constant supply of lettuce.  Plant in full sun or partial shade.

• Sow Seed 1" apart
• Plant 1/4" deep
• Germinate 7-14 days
• Thin 6-10" apart
