Florence Fennel is well loved in the fennel world. It has large bulbs, fronds are beautiful and able to be used as well. The flavor it that of licorice and anise. In Italy it is called finnocchio and sometimes it is referred to that on menus across America. We have various seed companies throughout the year but always organic.
Instructions - Sow seeds indoors ¼" deep. Transplant outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. Harvest before plant blooms to keep the bulb from becoming tough. Prefers well-drained rich soil.
