Outhouse Hollyhocks - We love hollyhocks.  They are the classic farm and cottage garden flower. Once established they reseed for year after year blooms. Single blooms of various shades of white, magenta, reds, burgandies and whites. Hollyhocks are biennials.  They bloom the second year in the North or first year in more moderate climates with longer season. Start them in February in the cold north and many will blossoms by summer's end. Self-seeding biennial, 6-9' tall. Botanical Name (Alcea rosea)

Instructions:

 Sow seed indoors 1/4" deep. Plant out after the danger of frost has passed in late spring. Can also be directly sown outdoors 3 weeks before the last frost. Prefers light well-drained soil and will tolerate dry conditions.
