Rembrandt Tulips belong to the single late family tulips (Cottage and Darwin families). They are absolutely stunning and have mesmerized people for centuries. Today’s Rembrandt tulips are helathy and hardy. They were developed to resembled tulips that were diseased. The disease is what distorted the colorings. Thankfully generations of passionate tulip growers were able to recreate this look.
