They are a loose head allium where they bloom close to the center and far away giving you a multidimensional look to the blossom size. Garlic Scapes are a garlic lover’s dream. Garlic scapes are the flowering stalk on hard neck garlic that is tender and tastes like garlic. The garlic scape is harvested the garlic bulbs grow even bigger. It is often used to make garlic scape pesto, infused oils, chopped in salads, sauted with veggies or meats and added to sauces. They’ll start to be harvested at the end of this week and will be available for shipping on June 17. They will be harvest all week so don’t delay. Fresh scapes are truly wonderful and yes they ship amazingly well.
