Do Tell - Award Winning Peony! Two toned pink blossoms - very pale on the outer petals and darker on the inner petals. Japanese form peonies are standouts in the garden. Renee's Garden - We’ve made our own carefree mix of hard-to-find varieties with different flower forms. Enjoy antique bicolor-splashed “Carousel,” exotic needle-petal “Cactus,” chartreuse ruffled “Envy” and free-blooming starry crested “California Giant.” This charming collage comes in all the radiant zinnia shades including orange, scarlet, cherry, violet, rose, salmon, cream, gold, yellow and chartreuse. These easy growing and rewarding old-fashioned favorites are perfect for long blooming borders and centerpiece bouquets.  Characteristics:  Heirloom Mix Butterfly & Hummingbird favorites  Pollinators & Beneficials  Annual   Summer/fall bloom  Frost tender   1g, ~130 Seeds Instructions - To start in the garden, sow seeds in well-worked soil in full sun when the danger of frost is past and the weather is warm and above 50°F (10°C) both day and night. Space seeds 3 inches apart in rows 12 inches apart, cover about 1/2 inch deep, and gently firm the soil. Keep soil evenly moist while awaiting germination. To start early indoors, four weeks before the last frost date, sow seeds 1/2 inch deep and 3 inches apart in a container of seed starting mix. Keep warm and moist and provide a strong light source until seedlings are ready to plant outside when temperatures rise above 50°F (10°C) day and night. Space seedlings 12 inches apart when large enough to handle to give plants room to mature and provide good air circulation. Zinnias grow readily in ordinary garden soil in full sun. For large and abundant flowers, thin before seedlings get crowded; adequate spacing and regular, even watering help keep zinnias productive and discourage mildew. Pick when flower blossoms first open and petals are tight for the longest vase life. Bubblegum Pink is the best color to describe Jacorma. She is a standout cut flower and is grown by florists everywhere as she is so reliable. She quickly matures and a single shrub in 5 years can yield 50+ blooms. Scarlet Heaven- Single scarlet red blossoms. There is no pollen and it is lightly scented. When it is in full blossom, this shrub will be a focus from the intese color of the blossom making it a striking plant in mass or stand-alone plantings.  Check out all of our peonies - Peonies (fireflyfarmandmercantile.com) Itoh Peonies are crossed with herbaceous (lactiflora) and tree peonies, resulting in plants that can provide 50 plus blossoms on shorter stems that do not require staking.
