Touché Dahlia - Warm tones of pinks and oranges combined with its unique form makes it a standout out in the garden. Narrow and strong stems are easy to work with. All dahlias are grown right here at Firefly Farm in Cashton, WI. Vassio Meggos stops us in our tracks when it first blooms. 8-10" giant lilac purple colored blooms are justs tunning. The petals layer so beautifully. They can make showstopping bouquets but are not long lasting so we enjoy them in our garden the most. We love dahlias for the endless blooms they produce though the season never feels long enough. We grow around 200 varieties and offer different ones each year as we rotoate what we would like to grow and offer. Dahlias reward gardeners with an abundance of blooms starting in mid to late summer through frost. 'White Nettie' Dahlia (Ball)

White Onesta never seems to stop blooming once it starts. They are water lily form and can dress up any bouquet. They hold up in bouquets for about 3-4 days. All dahlias are grown at Firefly Farm. We grow over 200 varieties and offer around 50 varieties each year. If there is one you are chasing, it doesn't hurt to ask as we may have it and have been known to fulfill requests if we can. White Onesta never seems to stop blooming once it starts. They are water lily form and can dress up any bouquet. They hold up in bouquets for about 3-4 days.

It comes from the family of Steve Foisie and is named for his grandfather, Agostino Reghitto. Agostino emigrated from Italy to Washington State in 1902 and founded Colonial Gardens Company, which raised vegetables for the Tacoma and Olympia markets. It’s unknown if the basil came from Italy, but Steve and his sister Sue recall that their mother, Della (Agostino's daughter), grew it each year. Venezuelan and Caribbean heirloom - Has the same shape, size, color and aroma as Habanero, but is sweet, spicy, and delicious, with only a trace of heat. Highly aromatic fruits; their flavor is unusual and complex, with overtones of black pepper and coriander, and undertones of other spicy flavors. Venezuelan and Caribbean heirloom -  Has the same shape, size, color and aroma as Habanero, but is sweet, spicy, and delicious, with only a trace of heat. Highly aromatic fruits; their flavor is unusual and complex, with overtones of black pepper and coriander, and undertones of other spicy flavors. An excellent choice for sautéed vegetables, rice and bean dishes, paprika, or herbal vinegars. The thin-walled pendant fruits are 1 x 2 in., tapering at both the stem and blossom end. Plants have good foliage cover and bear at 18 in. high. Seedlings grow slowly at first, but grow rapidly later in the season to 48 in. or more.

Instructions - <meta charset="utf-8">Peppers prefer light, well-drained, moderately fertile soil with pH 6.5-6.8. Use a high phosphorus starter fertilizer when transplanting to give young peppers a good start. Keep nitrogen levels in moderation, as high amounts can reduce yields. <meta charset="utf-8">Start transplants 6-8 weeks before the planting date. Sow seeds into flat ~4 seeds/inch and then pot up into 2” or larger cells after the first set of true leaves appear.
